Mr. Rudy Truman Moore, age 73 of Hamilton, AL, and formerly of Vernon, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, at Aliceville Manor Nursing Home.

Mr. Moore was born September 30, 1945, in Vernon, AL, to the late Robert and Mary Adine Moore.  He was a machinist and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thurston Moore and Johnny Brooks Moore.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Leon Barnes officiating.  Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday 2:00-3:00 prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Potts, Max Potts, Tucker Burkhalter, Jeff Palmer, Taten Palmer, and Trenton Palmer.  Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Northam, David Nixon, Jimmy Harris, Ron Gibson, Fred Thomas, and David Gilmore.

Survivors include one daughter, Angie (Kevin) Potts of Carrollton, AL; three grandchildren, Allie Rae (Tucker) Burkhalter of Coker, AL, Brandon (Hannah) Potts of McShan, AL, and Max Potts of Carrollton, AL; three great-grandchildren, Wilson Burkhalter, Riley Potts, and Brooks Burkhalter; one brother, Tommy Moore of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Robbie Collins of Fayette, AL; his special friend, Rita Gilmore; and his special caregiver, Jacey Holland.
