Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Westbrook, age 72 of Vernon, passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Generations of Vernon.
Mrs. Westbrook was born September 2, 1938 in Pickens Co., AL to the late James Ellis and Jessie Mae Moore. She retired from the Care Center of Vernon.
Memorial service will be Thursday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by one son, James Curry of Vernon; two daughters, Kathy Petty of Columbus, MS and Karen Acker of Warrior; one sister, Linda Jacobs of Smithville, MS.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
