Mrs. Sandra Blair Taylor, age 73 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Generations of Vernon.

Mrs. Taylor was born May 13, 1943, in Minneapolis, MN, to the late Wilbur H. and Nola Mae Blair and was a caregiver. She was the youngest of nine children and was blessed with a husband of 55 years and and three children. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor was also preceded in death by her son, Dale Taylor; her daughter, Sheila Marie Taylor; brothers-in-law, Warren G. Cargile and Jr. Atkinson; one sister-in-law, Ruby D. Atkinson; and her father and mother-in-law, Marvin and Nina Taylor.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Bro. James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Union Cemetery in Winfield in the Wayside Community. Visitation will be Saturday 12-1 prior to the service.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Charles Taylor of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Sheri (Derrick) Cobb of Kennedy, AL; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Taylor of Winfield, AL; six grandchildren, Kyle (Amy) Shaw, Kodie (Robby) McAdams, Sieara (Jamie) Lindsay, Zachary Taylor, Bella Taylor, and Jeremy Cobb; six great-grandchildren, Walker McAdams, Kolt McAdams, Drake McAdams, Browning McAdams, Karden Shaw, and Lynnlee Lindsay; three sisters, Shirley Rickard, Marrian Irwin, and Nola Mae Sangren, all of Minnesota; and two brothers, Dale Blair and Billy Blair, both of Minnesota.
