Obituary
Miss Shae Marie Shaw, age 14 of Caledonia, MS, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014, at her residence.
Shae was born September 21, 1999, in Winfield, AL to Betty Ray Shaw and Johnny Lee Smith. She was a student at Caledonia High School and was an avid wrestling fan. Shae was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dan and Stella Shaw; her aunt, Diane (Buddy) McDowell; her uncle, Scotty Holbrook; and her great-grandfather, Ed Smith.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:00 in the funeral home chapel with Thomas Nix officiating. Graveside services will follow at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be Monday evening 6-9.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Ray Shaw of Caledonia, MS; her father, Johnny Lee Smith of Vernon, AL; her sisters, Kathy (D.A.) Shaw Mann of Brilliant, AL and Kelly (Brian) Hall of Steens, MS; her grandparents, Eddie Mae Ray of Vernon, AL and William B. Smith of Sulligent, AL; her great-grandmother and step-great-grandfather, Oddie and Harrel Randolph of Detroit, AL; her best friend and nurse, Vallerie Miller; and her cousins, Sarah and Scotty Holbrook. Shae was also surrounded by a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
