Obituary
Mr. Shane Devon Pinkerton, age 49 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.
Mr. Pinkerton was born October 15, 1966, in Columbus, MS to Linda Springfield Pinkerton and the late Larry Pinkerton, Sr. He was a 1986 graduate of Lamar County High School and worked with Gen Corp. In addition to his father, Mr. Pinkerton was preceded in death by his son, Cole, and his grandparents, Clarence and Verla Pinkerton, James Springfield, and Mary Ruth Springfield.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 1:00 at the Old Morton Cemetery with Eddie Finch, David Sullivan, and David Gunnels officiating. Visitation will be Saturday 11-1 at the funeral home prior to the service.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Pinkerton of Vernon, AL; two brothers, Derrick (Alicia) Pinkerton of Vernon, AL and Larry Wayne Pinkerton (Kim) of Fayette, AL; his children, Nathan, Zac, Megan, Aleigha, and Skyler; two grandchildren, Blade and Karlee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
