Mrs. Shannon Hardy, age 53, of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

Shannon was born August 21, 1971, to the late Daniel Ray and Betty Lou (Horton) Shaw.  She worked in accounting at Butler and Company..

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 11, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Tim Meherg officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Dylan Smith, Jason Hardy, Storm Otts, Daniel Cox, Chris Scott, Alan Elliott, Jake Hicks, and Brad Hulsey.  Honorary pallbearers will be Heath Robinson, Darren Black, Paul LaDuke, Elbert Vice, Delbert Vice, Alan Ray Vice, and Johnny Wayne Vice.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Hardy, of Vernon, AL; her children, Jason (Amanda) Hardy of Columbus, MS, Phylicia (Daniel) Cox of Rossville, Ga, Shannon (Storm) Otts of Winfield, AL, and Kelsey (Dylan) Smith of Caledonia, MS; her grandchildren, Cayden Cox, Connor Cox, Chloe Beth Otts, Sadie Holliman, Allie Hardy, Alex Hardy, Cameron Cox, Greyson Cox, and Kyler Smith; one brother, Justin Shaw of Geneva, OH; four sisters, Michele Pierson of Eldridge, AL, Lori (Paul) LaDuke of Whitefield, NH, and Sara-Rae Shaw of Geneva, OH and Angie Bradford; her mothers-in-law, Audean Corkren and Myra Millican; two aunts, Sandra Crompton and Diane Jones; her nieces and nephews, Brad Hulsey, Bella LaDuke, and Tatum LaDuke; and her cousins, Jake Hicks and Halle Hicks.
