Mrs. Sharon Lee Hopson, age 68 of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Fayette Medical Center-DCH.
Mrs. Hopson was born Oct. 8, 1941 in Danville, IN to the late Paul C.J. and Mary Ellen Ritter. She was a housewife.
Memorial service will Sat., Oct. 9, at 1:00 with Howard Donoway officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Hopson of Vernon; son, Dale (Gina) Hopson of Vernon; three daughters, Kim (Dave) Parmatier of Northport, AL, Nancy (Gerald) Zeitler of Charlevair, MI, and Paula Hopson of Vernon; sister, Jo Ann Wahithrow of Fayette; five brothers, Kenneth Ritter of San Jose, CA, Keith Ritter of Miller, IN, Timmy Ritter of Gary, IN, Michael Ritter of Oregon, and Bryan Ritter of Charlotte, NC; two granddaughters, Amber Lee and Erica Potts; one great-granddaughter, Emma Lee.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
