Mr. Stanley Wade Hill, age 67, of Vernon, AL in the Crossville Community, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Fayette Medical Center-DCH.

Mr. Hill was born July 8, 1956, in Winfield, AL, to the late Frank Ellis and Ruby Ethel Hill.  He served in the US Army and Vietnam War, and was a contractor.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Perkins Hill, four brothers, three sisters, and three nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 12, at 3:00 PM, from the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with David Sullivan officiating.  A graveside service will follow at Liberty Free Will Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Jason Pelphrey (Brittani Miller), Kaitlin Pelphrey (Holly Goff), and Lauren (Josh) Locke; one brother, Kenneth Hill; one sisters, Elizabeth Evans; and a host of nieces and nephews.
