Obituary
Mrs. Anita Suzanne "Suzy" Rawls, age 63 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Fayette Medical Center.
Mrs. Rawls was born December 4, 1952, in Birmingham, AL, to Sylvia Schlosser and the late Fred F. Schlosser. She was an associate director of a youth camp in Colorado. In addition to her father, Mrs. Rawls was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Milton Schlosser, and three foster children.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 at Calvary Baptist Church with Will Corbett and Greg Hood officiating. She will lie in state at the church 12-2. Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church. Visitation will be Friday evening 6-8 at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Butch Rawls of Sulligent, AL; her mother, Sylvia Schlosser of Vernon, AL; 22 foster sons; three foster daughters; one brother, James Mark Schlosser of Marietta, GA; one niece, Katlyn Schlosser; three nephews, Trey Wilson, Rich Wilson, Matthew McCutcheon; two sisters-in-law, Marcia McCutcheon and Cindy Wilson; one great-niece; and her father-in-law, Richard Rawls.
