Mr. Roy Allen "Teddy" Shackelford, Jr., age 70, of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Mr. Shackelford was born April 27, 1952, in Columbus, MS, to the late Roy Allen Shackelford, Sr. and Patricia McGee Shackelford.  He was a musician and played drums for different bands.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher Shackelford.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 19, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Glen Hughes officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove.  Visitation will be 9:30-11:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include two sons, Shawn (Susie) Shackelford of Niceville, FL and Noah Shackelford (Summer Barton) of Steens, MS; one daughter, Mandy McNamara of Valdosta, GA; one step-daughter, Dawn (Buddy) Hudson of Gordo, AL; his girlfriend, Cindy Malone of Vernon, AL; one brother, Ronnie Shackelford; two sisters, Sonya Porter and Debbie Lawrence; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a cousin he was blessed by, Steve Shackelford.
