IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas
Mcreynolds
February 10, 1955 – December 16, 2021
Mr. Charles Thomas McReynolds, age 66, of Millport, AL, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021, at his residence.
Thomas was born February 10, 1955, in Vernon, AL. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, and tending to his bees. Thomas also possessed vast knowledge in engines and automobile racing. His knowledge and know-how was put to good use, as he served as tech and national racing series. He was considered to be a great tech inspector because he knew how to cheat as well as any. His knowledge and mechanical ability were put to good use through his machine shop, Weeds Motorsports. Anyone who has ever been up to Thomas' knew right away why it was called Weeds Motorsports.
Knowing Thomas, he did stuff on Thomas' time. You didn't dare rush him, cause if you did, it would take twice as long. Thomas was in his own little world--we just had the privilege to come into his world. He loved his coffee, and was known at any track during the summer or winter to have a cup.
Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Tom McReynolds; his father, J.C. McReynolds; and his brother, David McReynolds.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 19, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Jammie Turner officiating. Burial will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery in the Hightogy Community. Visitation will be Saturday evening, 6:00-8:00 PM.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth McReynolds; his wife, Kathy McReynolds; one son, Scott Glasgow; four grandchildren, Ali Glasgow, Brady Glasgow, John Thomas Glasgow, and Jack Glasgow; and his special friend, Abby Robertson.
