Obituary
Mr. Thomas Lee Taylor, age 59 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Taylor was born July 30, 1954, in Columbus, MS, to the late Albert Lee and Lavelle Taylor and he worked with United Furniture. In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Earnest Owens, and a sister, Mary Tomlin.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Godsey officiating. Graveside services will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening 4-6.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Taylor of Vernon, AL; four daughters, Brenda Kay (Mark) Robertson, Gina Lavelle (Dale) Hopson, Laura Lee (Michael) Nowogorski, and Christy Dawn (Justin) Hawkins all of Vernon, AL; five grandchildren, Krystal Victoria Moore, Michael Thomas Nowogorski, Mark Anthony Robertson, Jr., Katilynn Jolei Robertson, and Katherine Elizabeth Nowogorski; three sisters, Johnnie May Holder of Aikin, SC, Glynda Bee (Harland) Jordan of Fort Worth, TX, and Juanita Hawkins of Hamilton, AL; mother-in-law, Maxine Owens; brother-in-law, George Owens; three sisters-in-law; and a number of cousins and friends.
