Mr. Timothy Corkren, age 65, of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Mr. Corkren was born March 29, 1955, in Haleyville, AL, to the late Pete Corkren and Faylene Rawls Corkren Dempsey.  He worked many professions throughout his life, but his favorite and longest profession was being a truck driver.  Mr. Corkren was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Paul Dempsey; his nephew, Anthony Corkren; and his brother-in-law, Michael Swanigan.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, December 19, at 2:00 PM, at Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Corkren of Vernon, AL; two daughters, Nicky (Andre) Denman and Allison Corkren, both of Vernon, AL; two sons, Al (Nichole) Lewis and Paul Corkren, both of Vernon, AL; four grandchildren, Timmy Lewis, Cadence Denman, Rhys Denman, and Cullen Denman; one sister, Deborah Corkren Swanigan Johnson (Danny); one brother, Keith (Audean) Corkren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
