Barron Todd Patrck, age 58, of Vernon, AL, went home to his Lord and Savior May 16, 2026
Todd was born to the late Clinton Patrick and the late Lavelle Butler Patrick.
Todd was a graduate of Lamar County High School. He was employed by Tronox in Hamilton, MS. Todd worked hard and was a wonderful provider to his family. He was a saver and planner. Plans for an early retirement. Todd reached his goal and his official retirement date was May 15th, 2026. He had so many plans for the future. He had so many plans for the future. Todd was a doer, a worker, and loved to piddle. He always found something to do. He had so many plans for the future doing the things he loved to do, not a life of leizure, but doing some welding, tractor work, building things, creating things just to name a few. Todd had a talent and it showed in everything he ever did. Todd was a thinker and a problem solver. My love's plans for the future were cut to short. God had different plans and needed him more than we did.
Todd Patrick and Tammy Browning Patrick were high school sweethearts, married in 1984 at the young age of 16. At 17 they welcomed their first son Brandon in 1985 and their second son Blake in 1988. He was an exceptional husband and daddy. Todd was made for this role in life and it showed in everything he ever did. He loved Tammy and his boys, they were his entire world and who he lived for. It wasn't always easy. They beat the odds that were stacked against them and were married 41 beautiful loving years. Todd and Tammy's love story was cut short here on earth, but their love and their story will continue to live on through the boys and their four amazing grandchildren. They shared a love like no other. Our loss and grief is unimanginal, and I ask for your prayers to help us through our heartbreak.
Todd is preceded in death by his parents Clinton Patrick and Lavelle Butler Patrick, and his father-in-law, Owen Browning.
Todd is survived by his wife, Tammy Browning Patrick of Vernon, AL; two sons, Brandon (Beth) Patrick and Blake (Tosha) Patrick, both of Vernon, AL; four grandchildren, Ashleigh, Allie, Emma, and Avery (our Bubba) Patrick, all of Vernon, AL; his brother, Toby Patrick; and his mother-in-law, Rose Browning.
Those who knew him best knew Todd Patrick loved to eat and had a mighty appetite. Nothing made me more proud than to cook for my love. He never complained in 41 years about what we had, and never missed a meal that after he said I enjoyed it. That's rare right there. There's so many things I'll never get to do for him again. No more cooking his favorite meals, no more cooking 20 sausage and biscuits on Sunday for the upcoming week. No more hearing I love you. That's one thing that has never been missed a day by either of us.
Todd was the love of my life, my one and only, my always and forever. Our hearts are shattered broken beyond repair. Heavenly Father I pray that you will be our strength and guide us through our devestion, our grief, our tragic loss. The loss of my forever love, my boys daddy and our grandbabies PaPaw Todd. Todd, you are my forever, my always. I love you more than words could every say. I always have and always will. We shared that one special love, just the two of us you and I. Our favorite song from our early years (She and I by Alabama). So I will and patiently wait which was something you didn't have much of at times. Until the good Lord calls me home and we will never ever be apart again. My love you got me for eternity. I love you Todd Patrick always and forever.
