Mr. Tol Hayes, age 88, of Kosciusko, MS and formerly of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Martha Jo Leslie State VA Home in Kosciusko.

Mr. Hayes was born December 3, 1935, in Lamar County, AL, to the late LJ "Bud" and Tennie B. Hayes.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and Korean War, and worked as a postal clerk.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Hayes; three brothers, Jack Hayes, Johnny Hayes and Warren Hayes; and two sisters, Jean Holley and Biddie.

There will be a graveside service Thursday, February 1, at 2:00 PM, at the Lampkins Cemetery, with Andy Tentoni officiating.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Tardo and Mary Lynn Hayes; one grandson, Matthew J. Wagner; one great-granddaughter, Aubree Claire Wagner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
