Mr. Tommy Lee Pennington, age 66, of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Pennington was born July 7, 1955, in Sulligent, AL, to the late Thomas Jefferson Pennington and Mary Nell Channell Pennington.  He was a home building contractor, and served in the U.S. Army with the 101 First Airborne.  Mr. Pennington was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who liked to see everyone smile.

The family has chosen cremation, and will have a memorial service at a later time.

Survivors include his wife, Janie Mae Pennington, of Vernon, AL; two sons, Tommy (Nataline) Pennington and Christopher ( Audrey) Pennington, both of Hackleburg, AL; four grandchildren, Hayden, Gavin, Garrett, and Laura Leigh Pennington; and one brother, Timmy Pennington, of Hamilton, AL.
