Mr. Tony Ray Hudson, age 60, of Fredericksburg, VA, and formerly of Vernon, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Hudson was born May 30, 1962, in Vernon, AL, to the late Boyd Junior and Polly Pennington Hudson.  He served and retired from the U.S. Air Force and later worked as a transportation operation specialist with Zone 1 Acquisition and Remarketing.  He was also preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Wallace and Christine Pennington, and his nephew, Connor Forrestall.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 8, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. James Godsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Wofford Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Pennington, Marty Hawkins, Jeffery Lynn Taylor, Jerry Taylor, Larry Miyamoto, and Tom Jessen.  Honorary pallbearers will be Rob Bates, Mike McCloud, David Pennington, Dan Garrison, J.D. Hayes, Jr., Brian Napp, and Bruce Green.

Survivors include two sisters, Lisa (Ricky) Glasgow of Vernon, AL, and Tanya Hudson Forrestall of Birmingham, AL; six nieces, Holly Reese, Polly Forrestall, Anna Kilby, Gracelyn Kilby, Miley Kilby, and Ali Glasgow; and a host of other family and friends.
