Mr. Mark Anthony "Tony" Jackson, age 54 of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Mr. Jackson was born January 2, 1961, in Belleville, IL, to Earline Jackson and the late Delano Jackson. He was a diesel mechanic and enjoyed fishing, watching Alabama football, and going to LCHS sporting events.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Frankie Rogers and James White officiating. Graveside services will follow at Lamar Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6-9.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Donna Jackson of Vernon, AL; his daughter, Tara (Dustin) Fields of Vernon, AL; his son, Kyle (Brittany) Jackson of Sulligent, AL; his mother, Earline Jackson of Vernon, AL; his brother, Steve (Jackie) Jackson of Vernon, AL; his granddaughter, Kinleigh Fields; three aunts, Reba Ballard, Jarline Bernd, and Ann Jackson; his uncle; Bill Russell; two nephews, William Jackson and Tyler Jackson; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
