Mr. Henry Tracy Edwards, age 82 of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.

Mr. Edwards was born March 27, 1934, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late John and Maude Edwards. He was a veteran and a dispatcher with a trucking company. He was also a member of the Vernon Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, Mr. Edwards was also preceded in death by his brother, J.B. Edwards, and his sister, Virginia Stockman.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 at the Vernon Church of Christ with Eddie Finch officiating. Graveside services will follow at the Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 12-2 prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Lola Mae Edwards of Vernon, AL; one son, Scott Edwards and his wife Leah of Vernon, AL; one sister-in-law, Annie Edwards; and a host of family and friends.
