Mr. Tyler Cruz Shuford, age 23, of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, in Lowndes Co., MS.

Mr. Shuford was born September 21, 1992, in Columbus, MS, to Kitty Gordon Duncan and Doug Shuford. He was a factory worker at Steele Dust Recycling. Mr. Shuford was preceded in death by his grandparents, R.W. and Dolly Guyton, Duff and Kitty Gordon, Maudie Gordon, Evelyn Welch, Elvie Lacy, W.L. and Dorothy Cleveland, and Dot McCrackin.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Terry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in the Hightogy Community. Visitation will be 1-2 prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Alexus Shuford of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Anna Cate Shuford of Vernon, AL; his parents, Kitty Duncan of Vernon, AL, Jackie (Virginia) Duncan of Hamilton, AL, and Doug Shuford of Aberdeen, MS; two sisters, Christy (Kevin) Foster of Kennedy, AL and Addison Duncan of Hamilton, AL; one brother, Evan Shuford; and his grandparents, Lonnie and Linda Gordon, Sharron Loveless, Ricky and Barbara Duncan, and Jack Welch; his mother-in-law, Donna Gilmer; one sister-in-law, Kelsey Markley; and one brother-in-law, Brent Flippo.
