Obituary
Ms. Velma Louis Aldridge, age 84 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Ms. Aldridge was born December 19, 1930, in Pickens Co., AL, to the late J.G. Wilson Mellie Wilson. She was a factory worker with Westing House and was also preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.
Graveside services will be Friday at 1:00 at Unity Grove Cemetery with Bobbie Jean Haggler officiating.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane (Ross) Hudson of Sulligent, AL; three grandchildren, Shawn (DeShana) McLemore, Kendra Tate, and Whitney Hudson, all of Vernon, AL; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ralph Wilson of Palmetto, AL.
