Vera Elizabeth "Libby" Shaw

Mrs. Vera Elizabeth "Libby" Shaw, age 59, of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, July 10, 2026, at her residence.

Libby was born April 29, 1967, in Butler, AL, to Vera Dillard and the late Roger Dale Easley, Sr.  She was a cook at Jack's, and was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Kenneth Easley and Roger Easley, Jr.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July15, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. James Godsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Celebration Worship Center Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Shaw; her children, Sherri Rhodes, Kevin (Autumn) Minor, Bethany (Nick) Mock, Crystal (Jamie) Pennington, Brandy (Christopher) Dearen, and Danny (Daphne) Shaw, Jr.; one sister, Cynthia Morgan; one brother, Guy Baucum; and her grandchildren, Kyndal Rhodes, Marlee Rhodes, Blake Rhodes, Greyson Rhodes, Mykayla Holkan, Bella Minor, Sophie Minor, Easton Minor, Blayne Minor, Christian Minor, Douglas (Madison) Miles, June Miles, Kira Goforth, Michael Goforth. Lacy Pennington, Hunter Shaw, Layla Shaw, Laken Shaw, Barrett Mock, Rowan Mock, Jordan Cantrell, and Waylon "Chunk" Wilkinson.
