Virginia Ann McClure, age 80 of Vernon, AL, departed this life on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Mrs. McClure was born in Lamar Co., AL on December 1, 1931 to Curtis and Zadie Moore and she was a house wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob McClure, her parents, and an infant twin sister.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Eddie Finch officiating. Burial will follow at Lampkin Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 prior to the service.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Paul) Robertson of Vernon, AL and Teresa Rogers of New Hope, MS; her son, Brian McClure of Mississippi; eight grandchildren, John Paul Robertson, Andy Robertson, Michael Rogers, Jenny Rogers, Jamie Rogers, Alex Rogers, Kinleigh McClure, and Connor McClure; and six great-grandchildren, Summer Robertson, Regan Robertson, Tezzie Robertson, Seelee Robertson, Jayden Pinkerton, and Max Pinkerton.
