Mr. Don Wayne DuBose, age 74 of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Mr. DuBose was born January 13, 1945, in Fayette, AL, to the late J.C. and Jo Nina DuBose.  He served in the National Guard and was president of Bama Air.  He was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years.  He was married to the late Kay Johnson DuBose.

There will be a memorial service Sunday at 2:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Kevin Sudduth officiating.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include two daughters, Wendy (Ronnie) Sprinkle of Eldridge, AL and Crystal Evans of Fayette, AL; four grandchildren, Kaylea (Kevin) Johnson, Jacey McGuire, and Ty and Ali Burnett; two great-grandsons, Kurt and Klay Johnson; one brother, Danny (Tina) DuBose; his sweetheart, Renata Watkins; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations for Bibles to be placed in Mr. DuBose's honor be made to the Gideons International, P.O.
