Mr. Wendall Lee Christian, age 74 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Winfield, AL.

Mr. Christian was born November 25, 1940, to the late Oder and Hazel Christian. He worked in the garment industry and enjoyed doing wood work and crafts. In addition to his parents, Mr. Christian was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and James Stanford.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Jeff Brantley officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Freewill Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 12-2 prior to the service.

Survivors include his niece, Wanda Wilson of Sulligent, AL; a great-niece, Jessie Wilson of Sulligent, AL; a great-nephew, Ethan Stanford of Sulligent, AL; a great-great-nephew, Rayburn Cunningham of Sulligent, AL; four aunts, Levore Nesbitt, Beatrice Christian, Gloria B. Christian, and Lola Christian; his special friend, Don Barnes; and a host of cousins and other family.
