Mr. Willard Harlan Boyett, age 72, of Oxford, AL and formerly of Hamilton, AL, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Boyett was born June 30, 1951, in Hamilton, AL, to the late Harlan H. and Jesmer Brown Boyett.  He was a truck driver, and was also preceded in death by cousins, Horace Boyett, Harold Boyett, and Lowell Gann, and his step-son, Benjamin Gatlin.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 30, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. Arnold Sheets officiating.  A graveside service will follow at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday evening, 6:00-8:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Carter, Keith Nelson, Logan Donaldson, Michael Gann, James Boyett, Wayne Jackson, Greg Boyett, and Mike Corbett.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Boyett; one son, Russell Boyett; one step-daughter, Rebekah Farley; his cousins, Faye (Paul) Williams, Mike (Rhonda) Gann, James (Mary) Boyett, Wayne Gann, and Wanda (Ray) Grubbs; a special brother, John (Gloria) Noel, Sr.; a special sister, Frantina Regina Williams Wilson; and a special niece, De'Vaughnye' Brillana Wilson..
