Mr. Willden A. "Pete" Nethercutt, age 89, of Caledonia, MS, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at The Arrington in Columbus, MS.

Mr. Nethercutt was born July 5, 1933, in Beulaville, NC, to the late John Bill and Charlotte Albertson Nethercutt.  He was retired from the US Air Force and was married to the late Joyce Ann Nethercutt.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 30, at 12:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Jason Collier officiating.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.

He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Randy Kyzer; his great-grandson, Josh Kyzer; his son-in-law, Gene Clements; and his sister-in-law, Frances Nethercutt.

Survivors include two sons, Terry (LaVida) Nethercutt of Kennedy, AL and John (Nancy) Nethercutt of California; two daughters, Cynthia Clements of West Blockton, AL and Cheryl (Kevin) Gallop of Caledonia, MS; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lavalle "Repete" Nethercutt of Beulaville, NC.
