Mr. William Bryan Barnes, age 82 of Fayette, AL, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016, at Fayette Medical Center.

Mr. Barnes was born December 22, 1933, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Thomas Edward and Martha Elizabeth Barnes. He was a U.S. veteran, co-owner of Lamar Heating and Cooling, and a cattle farmer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Banks Barnes and Joe Barnes, and two sisters, Mary Woods Gill and Addie Ruth Bobo.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Mike Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be at the church 12-1 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Barns, Caleb Rogers, Jacob Winkles, Lynn White, Cam Dorsey, and Doug Blake.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Barnes of the Crossville Community; one son, Edward Bryan (Lytheda) Barnes of Tuscaloosa, AL; one daughter, Beth (Mike) Rogers of Madison, AL; four grandchildren, Paige (Cam) Dorsey, Patrick Bryan (Jackie) Barnes, Caleb Rogers, and Hannah (Jacob) Winkles; two great-grandchildren, Loa Harper Dorsey and Della Monroe Dorsey; one brother, Jerry Barnes of Fayette, AL; two sisters, Jean Pilkington of Birmingham, AL and Ann Chandler of South Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.
