Mr. William Aaron Pennington, age 61 of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Fayette Medical Center-DCH.

Mr. Pennington was born September 6, 1950, in Lamar Co., AL to the late John and Lorine Pennington. He served in the Vietnam War and was a truck driver for Vernon Milling Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Pennington.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 13, at 6:00 at Full Gospel Worship Center in Vernon with Charles Flippo, James Godsey, and Doug Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 4-6 at the church prior to the service.

Survivors are his wife, Dottie Pennington of Vernon, AL; four sons, William Keith (Jennifer) Pennington of Orange, TX, Aaron Heath (Haley) Pennington of Vernon, AL, Michael Leith (Angie) Pennington of Vernon, AL, and Jonathan Scott Pennington of Vernon, AL; three sisters, Margaret Desmidt of Columbus, MS, Joyce Smith of Tennessee, and Suzie Duett of Panama City, FL; six grandchildren, Janna Pennington (Tim) Walter, Kaley Pennington, Luke Pennington, Brooklyn Pennington, Brylee Pennington, and Kye Pennington; and a host of nieces and nephews.
