Mr. William "Willie" Arlton Wilkinson, Sr., of Vernon, AL, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Willie was born April 5, 1969, in Vicksburg, MS, to Emily Jean (Overton) Wilkinson and the late Louis Ray Wilkinson.  He was a retired truck driver, and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Racey and Sammy Wilkinson.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 9, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with John Wilkinson officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove.  Visitation will be 12:30-2:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Paul Wilkinson, Jacob Wilkinson, Sam Wilkinson, Bradyn Wilkinson, Louis Wilkinson, and Marlon West.

Survivors include his wife, Kyrstal Wilkinson, of Millport, AL; one son, William "George" (Kizandrea) Wilkinson, of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Faith (Chris) Weathers, of Ethelsville, AL; his mother, Jean Wilkinson, of Brooksville, MS; four grandchildren, C.J. Weathers, Waylon Wilkinson, Opal Wilkinson, and Colton Weathers; two brothers, John Paul Wilkinson and Michael Wilkinson; two sisters, Lena Nabors and Mandy Smith; and a host of other family and friends.
