Yvonne Sullivan, of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, July 15, at Generations of Vernon.

Mrs. Sullivan was born September 15, 1932 in Marion Co., AL to the late Coleman and Cora Lee Hill. She was a funeral home director with her husband for several years then worked as a communications director for the Lamar Co. Sheriff's Office.

Funeral services will be Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with burial at Lamar Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 1-3 prior to the service.

Survivors are her husband, Bob Sullivan of Vernon; son, David (Teresa) Sullivan of Vernon; daughter, Kaye (Roger) Slone of Vernon; grandchildren, Brandon Sullivan, Ethan Sullivan, Phillip (Tiffany) Slone all of Vernon, and Michael Paul Slone of Mobile; great-grandchildren, Tristian, Kylee, and Karly Slone all of Vernon; niece, Barbara (Kenneth) Gravitt of Bear Creek, AL; nephew, Ronnie Hill of Jasper; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Berkley Hill and Herchal Hill.
